  • 1209-1229 - Albigensian Crusade: French and Crusader forces crush the Cathar heretics in southern France

  • July 16, 1212 - The Reconquista: Spanish forces defeat the Moors at the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa

  • May 30-31, 1213 - English-French Wars: An English fleet defeats the French at the Battle of Damme

  • July 27, 1214 - War of Bouvines: Philip II of France defeats a coalition led by John I of England at the Battle of Bouvines
