  • Notes: One of the iconic aircraft of World War I, the Fokker Dr.I triplane was built in response to the British Sopwith Triplane. Produced in small numbers, the Dr.I was exceptionally agile, but prone to wing and structural failures. These issues led to the aircraft being temporarily grounded in late 1917.
