Civil War: The War in the West, 1863-1865

Sunday July 8, 2007

We continue our look at the Civil War with this article focusing on the war in the West between 1863 and 1865. Follow Rosecran's campaign to defeat at Chickamauga and learn about Grant's great victory at Chattanooga. We also examine Sherman's (left) campaign to Atlanta, his March to the Sea, and the final pursuit of Gen. Joseph Johnston's forces to the final surrender at Durham Station.
